Membership Overview
McLeod Swimming operates structured training programmes for Beginner, Junior, Senior, and Elite swimmers.
Competitive swimmers are registered and compete under Seagulls Swimming Club, a long-established club with a proud competitive history.
Membership provides access to professional coaching, structured training programmes, and progression within a competitive swimming environment.
Getting Started
Initial Fees
- Once-off Administration Fee: R250
Annual Club Subscription
(Levied annually on 1 May)
- SSA-registered competitive swimmers (Seagulls SC): R1,000
- Non-competitive swimmers: R800
- Beginner swimmers: R800
(Payable 12 months of the year)
Monthly Squad Coaching Fees

Beginners & Adult Programmes
Adult Beginner Programme:
3-month programme – R2,250 (2 lessons per week, heating included)
Fees are billed per cycle. Full details are available on request.
Annual Competition & Registration Fees
(Set annually by SSA / KZN Aquatics)
- SSA / KZN Registration – Swimmer: R1,380
- SSA / KZN Registration – Parent: R180
These fees are separate from coaching fees and are payable annually.
Discounts
- Annual payment discount:
- 10% discount on coaching fees if paid in full by 1 January
- 5% discount if paid in full by 25 January
- Family discount:
Families with three swimmers receive 8% off coaching fees for the third swimmer
(Discounts apply to coaching fees only.)
Important Financial Information
Coaching fees are payable in advance on the first day of each month
Late payment may result in suspension of training
Fees are payable every month of the year, regardless of attendance
The swimming year runs from 1 May to 30 April
One parent per family is required to register as an official and attend a course (competitive swimmers)
Forms, Rules & Detailed Information
All new members are required to:
- Complete the Membership Application
- Review the Information Pack and Club Rules
- Submit forms together with proof of payment before commencing training
