Joining McLeod Swimming
Before making contact, please note:
- Squad placement is based on ability, commitment, and readiness
- All swimmers are required to attend an assessment session prior to placement.
- Attendance at all scheduled training sessions is compulsory.
- Competitive swimmers are required to participate in competitions.
- The programme prioritises long-term athlete development over short-term results
This approach ensures the right fit for both the swimmer and the programme.
Information Required for Assessment
To assist with assessment and placement, please include:
- Swimmer’s name and age
- School and current swim club (if applicable)
- Events typically swum
- Level of competition (school / district / provincial / national)
Assessment Enquiries
Families who are aligned with the programme structure and expectations are welcome to submit an enquiry for assessment consideration.
Enquiries should be submitted by a parent or guardian
Enquiries are reviewed by the coaching team to determine suitability for assessment.
